alumni news
As you well know, Suffolk University is uniquely situated in Boston, sitting right along the Freedom Trail, with monuments of our nation’s colonial and Revolutionary-era history mere steps away from campus. Suffolk’s own rich 120-year history is interwoven with the city, and our exceptional location continues to provide an abundance of opportunities for students.
Boston and Massachusetts are especially exciting places to be this year as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding. After all, this is where it all began. As we mark this remarkable milestone, I invite you to reflect on your own history here in Boston and at Suffolk. What aspects of the life you have today began here? Your career? Your professional network? Lifelong friendships? Perhaps Suffolk is where you met your spouse.
Know that our doors are always open to you—our alumni, family members, and friends. Your expertise, hard-learned lessons, and professional and community connections are a treasure trove for current students. In past issues of this magazine, you may have seen our ads to update your contact information and share your news. We are always looking for alumni to speak to our students, participate in special programs, and share internship and job opportunities. We also like to brag about you! Your accomplishments inspire students and further enrich Suffolk’s history.
Marking a major milestone is a perfect opportunity to look to the future as well as to the past. As you think about your Suffolk experience and its impact on your life and career, I encourage you to also consider your legacy. Might you be in a position to help make a Suffolk education possible for future students? Every gift makes a difference.
Come home to Boston. Come home to Suffolk. Attend Reunion Weekend in June. And join us this fall for our annual community-wide celebration of all things Suffolk. Stay in touch, share your news, and help Suffolk continue to nurture future generations of Rams. I look forward to seeing you!
With best wishes,
